A “Rentcong” is a knife from Sumatra that can be held in the toes and used as a weapon. Hidden knives, and multiple knifes are variables that are considered in the mechanics of the Silat method of combat. It gives a new meaning to shin and bladder attacks.

Any video on how that thing is deployed? That looks way wicked.
I’ve seen Dan Inosanto use them and Herman Suwanda in person, but that’s it. My former instructor, Harold Koning mentioned them frequently relative to ground combat and the knee on stomach position.
