SANDBAG TRAINING FOR MMA AND COMBAT SPORT by Matthew Palfrey and Wesley ‘The Immortal’ Murch
I’m going to make this review very specific. I usually put in the pro’s and con’s,… what I liked and what I didn’t like. Let’s cut to the chase.
This is the best material on Sandbag training I have seen. The photos are very, very, very, good. Clear, clean, concise. The organization is superior. You get a LOT of bang for your buck. This is a big ebook with around 190 plus pages of warm ups, exercises, workouts, question & answers and definitions. It’s just very complete. It’s one source for training with Sandbags and not ten inferior ones.
That being said, this book does not tout the Sandbag as some miraculous, one of a kind tool. There are none. Barbell, Dumbbell, Kettlebell, Suspension Trainer and so on are all just tools and do not provide some “special” training that cannot be delivered with other means. They all have their strengths and weaknesses. However, the more simple the tool, the broader the application. That is the strength of this ebook. Great instruction, great programming and clearly illustrated in a professional manner. I really enjoyed it.
I’d highly suggest purchasing it and adding it to your collection. Matthew has arranged a discount code, sandbagmma15 to be used with your purchase which gives you a 15% discount.
